On top of combating COVID-19, Mozambique has been facing a number of other challenges including cyclones and worsening conflict in certain provinces. These events are increasing the number of people internally displaced within Mozambique as well as increasing the burden their healthcare system simultaneously hindering their actions to reduce infection rates.
