BACKGROUND
Sudan was already facing significant economic and humanitarian challenges before the pandemic which has only been exacerbated as the case numbers continue to rise. The EU has contributed 11.5 million Euros to help combat COVID-19 in Sudan. The primary goals of this contribution is to coordinate emergency response, improve surveillance and testing, and improve healthcare preparedness.
